Homemade Vegan Granola Bars

Most store-bought granola bars are not vegan, and even the vegan ones are usually high in sugar or unhealthy fats. 

So I decided to make my own granola bars at home, using only whole plant-based ingredients. And they turned out great! These homemade vegan granola bars are healthy, delicious, and very easy to make.

Your ingredients


Dates and dried fruit  Almonds  Rolled oats Salted peanut butter  Seeds (we used sesame and poppy seeds) Coconut flakes  Maple syrup (or agave syrup)

Briefly toast almonds and oatmeal in the oven

Blend dates, dried fruits, and seeds will you bake the oats and almonds and reserve in a mixing bowl

Add almonds and oat to the blender

Mix with the dates and dried fruit mixture

Press into a baking sheet with parchment paper

Press into a baking sheet with parchment paper and place in the freezer for a couple of minutes
